About MeHi, I'm Kirsten!
I believe the most powerful thing you can do at work is be yourself.
As an organisational consultant and leadership coach, I work with people, leaders, teams, and organisations ready to replace being ‘professional’ and their ultra-productive personas with authentic human connection.
Then I watch the transformation unfold: cultures shift, people engage, and bottom-line results prove that wholeness isn't soft - it's strategic. Authenticity isn't just good for humans - it's good for business.
My approach is grounded in sound psychological principles, decades of practical organisational development work, and lived experience of burnout from losing sight of myself.
My Whole Self is:
A lot more than an organisational consultant and leadership coach and deeply rooted in family.
I'm married to Steve, mum to two adult kids who are all out in the world being purposeful and wonderful.
My whole self includes two German Shepherd dogs and two Clydesdale horses (yes, the giant ones with fluffy feet). Animals have been with me my whole life, grounding me in what matters. Doing things with them, with people, or both is where you'll find me happiest.
I have a good sense of humour (essential for this work), I can be impatient and have a pattern of behaviour where I jump far too quickly to action when I’m running a project, regardless of the hundreds of times I’ve coached leaders to take their time and build their awareness. I enjoy eating far more than cooking which I consider a perfectly valid whole-self truth.
That’s me. Not just my credentials – my values, my passions, the things that drive me – my complete and real self.
WhyThis Work is Personal
For years, I was everything I thought I should be: competent, professional, reliable. I succeeded by every traditional measure while slowly losing myself. And I was exhausted. The cost of hiding who I was - of fragmenting myself to fit and belong - compounded into burnout, close calls with breakdown, and a deep sense of not belonging anywhere. Not even to myself.
I burned out maintaining the "professional" version of myself, the one who hid emotions and pretended work-life balance was simple. I was performing a work identity while my whole self remained invisible.
Until the moment I found where I truly belong - with myself, as my whole self – into my work, then everything changed. When I finally integrated all of me - values, emotions, body, spirit - into my work, the exhaustion lifted, and energy took its place.
That transformation drives everything I do now. I want you to experience the relief of being yourself, the energy that comes from wholeness, the power of finally belonging to yourself and the feeling of coming home. Because you're not broken, you're not too emotional, and you don't need fixing. You just need to stop hiding – from yourself and from others – give yourself permission to be human and to be your whole self at work.
Everyone deserves to feel at home in themselves, especially at work. Helping you make that journey is what drives everything I do.
Working With Me
When you work with me, expect honesty, challenge, and genuine care for your wholeness.
I work with individuals and organisations ready for real change, not surface solutions. I won't let you hide behind professionalism or settle for fragmentation. I will help you see yourself more clearly, develop embodied awareness, find courage you didn't know you had, and build authentic connections. Whether you're an individual leader or an entire organisation, the work is the same: coming home to your whole self and leading from there.
Working with me means working with all of you. I'll invite you to share yourself courageously, even when it feels vulnerable. And I'll model what it looks like to connect as whole humans, not roles. My approach is direct, compassionate, grounded in theory but focused on practice. I don't do platitudes or quick fixes. I do deep, transformative work for people ready to stop hiding.
This isn't fluffy self-help. It's rigorous, practical, and deeply human.
